Radio Journalism Workshop during Pelicam 2015

Pelicam International Film Festival and Organisation Mondiale de la Francophonie are happy to announce the first edition of the Pelicam International Workshop on Radio Journalism taking place between 8 and 12 June 2015 in Tulcea, Romania.

Pelicam IFF will select 14 journalism students from Romania, Bulgaria, Armenia, Albania, Moldova, Macedonia and Hungary (two students from each country). They will be trained by Radio France journalist Julien Trambouze.

Candidates can choose one of the following topics for a radio story:

– A fragile Delta? The Danube Delta, between ecologic disaster and natural miracol.

– How can we save the environment and have economic development in the same time? The Danube Delta, as the starting point of a new economy.

The 14 radio stories will be broadcasted during the forth edition of Pelicam, The International Film Festival about the Environment and People, taking place between 11 and 14 June 2015, in Tulcea, Romania.

– Motivation letter

– Short description of the project (2 pages) – Candidates must submit a detailed plan of his journalistic work in the Danube Delta. They will explain why they chose the topic, what is their approach and what soursec they will target.

During the workshop, the candidates will do research, write the radio story, record the interviews and make the final cut.
