Green Film Fest 2017, April 20-26

San Francisco Green Film Festival is a leading movement for films & conversations about people and the planet.

We use the power of film to inspire, inform, and motivate audiences to find their environmental passion and make a difference.

Our annual Green Film Fest and ongoing community screenings reach many thousands of people each year and connect us all to the most pressing environmental stories. We work with filmmakers and local arts and environmental organizations to connect people to ideas in the films and ways to get involved.

In 2017, Green Film Fest will be a city-wide celebration and focal point for Earth Day (April 22). We will present 70 premieres of new, international films with live events & special guests. The Festival kicks off on Thursday, April 20 at the historic Castro Theatre. The festival films are then screened at the Roxie Theatre and other city venues from April 21-26.
