Innsbruck Nature Festival FILM (Innsbruck, AUSTRIA)

The Innsbruck Nature Festival FILM is an international nature film competition, offering motivated filmmakers a platform for presenting their latest work. Four film festival days with film presentations are the framework for an on-topic, ecological, and artistic discourse. In 2019 the 18th edition of I.N.F. FILM will take place from October 8th to 11th. Detailed information can be found here.

In 2018 more than 400  film projects from 85 nations worldwide have been submitted, 50 outstanding projects made it to the shortlist and were shown on the big screen and more than 3.500 viewers came to see the breathtaking productions in Leokino Cinema in Innsbruck. Leokino is not only one of the most important and open cinemas in Tirol for off-mainstream films and events, but also an architectural highlight in the center of Innsbruck. Its authentic atmosphere and technical expertise are the main reasons for the cooperation with the Leokino, which has lasted more than a decade.

The I.N.F. FILM is the key event of the INNSBRUCK NATURE FESTIVAL which takes place from october 4th to 11th and offers international guests and the local population the possibility to come together and join in exciting and informative workshops, exploration tours and discussions, and also discover a diverse market with local products and dishes that are a 100% made from Tyrolean produce. For a whole week we set our focus on nature, environment and good life to further our society´s ability to grow towards sustainibility of a healthy planet. Bohatsch Marketing on behalf of The Tiroler Umweltanwaltschaft [Environmental Ombuds Office Tirol] is the organizer and is looking forward to welcoming you in Innsbruck in the fall!

The deadline for the next festival edition is set for: Monday 15 July 2019
