VIII Green Documentary Film Festival will take place in Moscow (Russia) from February, 24 to March, 2.
This year the festival features several Russian premiers, including big Russian-UK collaboration “Born to be free” which was first shown in Sheffield and is already called “New Cove”.
Russian programme this year is especially strong with “24 snow” by Mikhail Barynin which was selected to Berlinale this year, and with “Small people. Big trees”, one of the most interesting and internationally successful Russian documentaries for a long time!
Apart from a movie programme festival will host two study courses. Interactive workshop with whale-shark activist and filmmaker Erin Calmes and open talks with Birgit Heidsiek, founder of Green Film Shooting platform.
