The 7th Deauville Green Awards has been held in June 19 and 20. Wednesday, June 20 in Deauville, the hundred or so finalists in the 3 competitions and their 14 thematic categories have been awarded the Gold and Silver Green Awards, Special Prizes and the 3 Grands Prix rewarding excellence in audiovisual production and communication for sustainable development.
The 3 Grands Prix:
Competition SPOT (advertising messages of awareness): Et si la gravité n’existait pas? Toulouse Métropole directed by Olivier Fraysse for Toulouse Métropole, around urban pollution.
Competition INFO (audiovisual communication of corporations, businesses or administrations): Secos a Chilean film by Chamila Rodriguez, about the privatization of the water sector in Chile.
Competition DOCU (documentary programs and creative documentaries longer than 25 minutes): Une oasis d’espoir directed by Nicolas Van Ingen, on the impact of climate change in Africa.
A total of 42 Gold Green Awards and 57 Silver Green Awards were presented in each of the 3 competitions (Spot, Info and Docu) of the 14 thematic categories.
