The 3rd Gödöllő International Nature Film Festival will be held in Gödöllő, Hungary from May 26th to 28th. The festival has became an outstanding nature and environmental protection event in the region: in 2016, nearly 300 films and several thousand guests arrived to Gödöllő from 34 countries.
In 2017 there will be two Film Reviews (International Film Review and Carpathian-Basin Film Review). Nearly 300 entries from 58 countries around the world were received to this year’s competition. The full competition program will be screened in Gödöllő. At the same time a selection of nature and environmental protection themed films will be screened in other 19 Hungarian and 2 Transylvanian cities.
In additional to the screenings of the competition films, there will be several programs: entertaining nature-preservation and environmental-protection programs, an outdoor photography exhibition entitled “Enchanting Hungary”, Trash Art Hungary sculpture exhibition, cinematic-arts and environmental protection conferences and a “Jam for Nature” musical talent show.
