13th Green Film Festival in Seoul, Korea – 6th – 12th May, 2016

The 13th Green Film Festival in Seoul (GFFIS) will happen from May 6th to May 12th in Seoul (Korea).
Green Film Festival in Seoul is the first and biggest film festival in Korea focusing on environment issues. Established in 2004 by Korea Green Foundation, GFFIS is a festival that seeks to share the hope for a better world where all the lives can live in harmony with environment and nature. Through cinema, the festival hopes to promote ideas of environmental protection and life respect to encourage public awareness and action for positive changes.

The 13th Green Film Festival in Seoul is pleased to announce the finalists for this year’s Green Competition, the international competition category of the GFFIS.

Thanks to all your supports and participations, 1,341 films (321 features, 1,020 shorts) were submitted from 111 different countries around the world, helping our festival make a spectacular event.

After the preliminary selection, 19 films from 20 countries advanced to the Green Competition. These films will compete for four GFFIS awards: Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Special Jury Award and Audience’s Choice.
